How can you restore your website if you don't have a backup?

Is it possible to restore contents of a website if the site was was either expired, and/or hosting expired? How can a webmaster restore their website if they do not have a backup? How do you get back the mySQL data? If you can't restore a webiste, how do you go about asking the hosting provider for a backup, if they automatically do it for their clients? Or is it impossible, and you will just have to regretfully start the website all over again?

Oooh that must hurt if it happens! I don't know the answer. My sister developed my website and she takes care of that side of things.

It seems very hard problem of not having any backups. Ask web hosting providers, if they can provide you with best solutions.

What I understand with the website files is that it has a duplicate somewhere because it is tested in a way before being uploaded to the host provider’s server. There are host providers who provide an automatic backup for the site’s files so that in case of a technical problem the site can be easily uploaded again. When the domain name expires then the files are still in the host provider’s server which you can get a copy of.
